Rev. Fr. Joseph Kalapurayil

Ordained as a priest on 16-12-1975. Served in Bombay dioceses from 1976 1989, In Kandanad diocese from 19901991 & 1997-2000, American Diocese from 1991-1997 & 2000-2003. Achen is Married to Mrs. Alice Joseph and have two children.

Joseph Achen came to Bahrain from Chembur Church. During Achens period of service besides running all the other spiritual organizations of the parish, the Bahrain Unit of Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Students Movement was also started. Its fortnightly meetings, activities etc. were very popular and well attended by the students. Achen lived with his family in Bahrain for some time and on completion of his tenure of service was transferred to Malad, Bombay.
