H.G. Philipose Mar Eusebious and H.G. Geevarghese Mar Coorilos led two retreats organised by the St. Pauls Suvishesha Sangham.

Our monthly bulletin is renamed as MARIAN and published with a new look by the grace of God and by the guidance of our vicar Rev.Fr. N.S Varghese. Also this year the church introduced wedding anniversary cards to wish our members ontheir memorable days.

His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathew II, Catholicose of the East and Malankara Metropolitan specially came to Bahrain on 11th April to paypersonal condolence to the Amir H.H Sh. Hamad Bin Sulman Al khalifa on the sudden demise of his father and ruler of Bahrain Sh. Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa. His Holiness offered condolence to H.H Sh. Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, His HighnessSh. Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the crown prince and commander in chief of BDF and the ruling family members.

H.H. Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Catholicos of the East and supreme head of Indian Orthodox Church offers personal condolence to the Amir H.H. Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa on the sad demise of his father the late Amir Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa on 11th April 1999

Special prayers were offered at our Church during this year on the loss of our great spiritual father and our former vicar H.G. Geevarghese Mar Dioscorus, Metropolitan of Trivandrum Diocese.
