The youth movement conducted Smrithi 2005 a cultural and sports and games competitions making all age group of members to participate for the first time in the parish and decided to continue in coming years.

Vidhyarambham ceremony was conducted in the Christian way for the first time in the church lead by our Vicar Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Thannikkottu in the presenceof H.G Geevarghese Mar Coorilose and Rev. Fr. T .J Joshua.

A supplementary parish directory was released with 158 new members joined in 2005.

H. G. Dr. Thomas Mar Athanasius visited our parish for the first time. Hon. Minister Adv. Adoor Prakash, Hon. Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan,Renowned cartoonist Yesudasan, and Dr. Babu Paul I.A.S . H. G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Osthathios Metropolitan of Niranam diocese also visited this year.

Marian Houses – One of our Golden Jubilee charity projects

The church decided to centralize various charity funds under one roof with common aim and purpose to build 50 houses for the poor and needy members from all our dioceses in Keralaand Bombay to be completedby 2009. By the Grace of God almighty our church was also able to provide a mobile medical unit to the St. Thomas mission Attappadi.

St. Thomas youth movementstarted conducting Samarpana Prarthana on 1st Tuesday of every month with the able leadership and spiritual guidance of vicar Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Thannikkottu.
