As part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations our Cathedral took over few specific projectssuch as Marian Houses (50 Nos), Marian Marriage Aid (50 Nos) and RehabilitationAids victims at Mumbai costing 50 lakhs being completed this year. The total charity project in connection with jubilee itself costs worth Rs.1.3Crore
The finale was on 26th June 2009. A smaranina YOBEL was released to commemoratethe Golden Jubilee Year highlighting memorable events of the 50years Church history.
As per GB decision, Church introduced a fund named Members Welfare Fund to help the Church Permanent members & their dependants who need medical treatment and other grievances.
The Holy relics of St. Gregorios of Parumala was installed at Bahrain St. Marys Indian Orthodox Cathedral, on November 1, 2009 by Metropolitan Thomas Mar Athanasius of Chengannur Diocese.
The Holy relics of Parumala Thirumeni was placed in the special place constructed in the Cathedral.
